L’EXPÉRIENCE COINTREAU
A Journey for the Senses & Imagination

It was in 1849 that the brothers Édouard-Jean and Adolphe Cointreau founded the Maison Cointreau in Saint-Barthélemy d'Anjou. After years of tireless research, Édouard Cointreau (son) invented in 1875 the famous liqueur recipe with a bittersweet orange flavor and crystalline color.

Designed by GSM Project, the new visitor experience at the heart of the Distillery takes visitors on a journey for the senses and the imagination. Maison Cointreau invites you to discover the history, the creativity and exceptional know-how behind their famous liqueur.
