Le Bal des Grands Coeurs 2024
A lively celebration immersing you into the heart of the cause.

On September 2024, The Montreal Heart Institute Foundation hosted the 24th edition of the Bal des Grands Cœurs, a philanthropic event charged with emotion. Gathering year after year the big-hearted individuals who rally for the cause, this evening—full of surprises and sensory experiences—allows the Institute to continue building the cardiovascular medicine of tomorrow to save even more lives.

The heart is the organ most connected to our emotions.
For this experience, we drew inspiration from the audience's heartbeat and bpm, making it central to the event’s concept and design. Upon entering the space, attendees' heartbeats were captured, and a collective heartbeat inspired soundscape was crafted to create an immersive sound choreography projected through ultrasonic speakers programmed by the digital art Studio Iregular . This soundscape experience also featured stories of courage, love, and rebirth. The audience could feel the hope and gratitude expressed by the voices of patients and experts, creating a profound and emotional atmosphere.
