VIBRER ENSEMBLE, 20 ans d’expériences mémorables
au Quartier des Spectacles

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Quartier des Spectacles’ inception, Vibrer ensemble, 20 ans d’expériences mémorables, a major outdoor and online exhibition inspired by the memories & emotions of Montrealers and visitors was produced in collaboration with Urbania. It all started with an invitation to Montrealers – spectators, festival goers, artists, technicians, organizers and the Quartier’s partners – to share memorable moments they experienced in Montreal’s cultural heart. Stories and anecdotes were collected to form the basis of this exhibition, comprising multiple contents, photographs and online video testimonials.

Presented on seven large-scale modular installations and on a mobile virtual interactive experience, the exhibition reveals every facet of the Quartier des Spectacles, recalling key moments and major works, along with reminiscences from some 40 remarkable people.

By scanning QR codes found throughout the exhibit, visitors could view and listen to Montrealers, Visitors, producers and artists as they talk about their personal connections with the Quartier and key moments they experienced there.
